Lose Lose is about love, as most songs are, but not a happy romance, and not even the utter despair of a break-up. Rather, Lose Lose is about the nuance and grey area that so many relationships truly live and die in. It’s not always an obvious choice to leave someone. Sometimes it just comes down to choosing the lesser of two evils.
Paige Warner has created a fresh sound with Lose Lose, yet one that feels so nostalgic as if a piece of it existed before its time. Warner struggled to find a suited genre, so coined the ever-fitting “Outlaw Blues-Pop”. The track was produced by the talented Craig Smith, near Warner’s quaint hometown in Grey County, Ontario. Playing into blues-rock and outlaw country sounds, while maintaining ear-worm pop hooks and floating soul-inspired vocals, Lose Lose is bound to make a splash in the Canadian music scene.

“Listening to Warner’s new album this past week, I’m already hooked on her catchy melodies and the inherent vulnerability of her lyrics and voice, conveying raw feelings and emotions on songs like Worth It, Please Don’t Look at Me, and the sensual contemporary R&B track, Undress.” - Marshall Ward, Waterloo Chronicle
“The songwriting here is immensely heartfelt, and fits like a glove, conjoined with the instrumentation. This piece gave me the inspiration to view myself a bit deeper today.” - Imani Wj Wright, Swanodown
